Name: State Street Corridor Project
Description: Martha is a senior citizen who was unable to afford to paint her two story home/garage and do some extensive yard clean up. Rebuilding Together's volunteers painted her home, cleaned up her yard, planted flowers and shrubs, put down mulch and hauled away garbage, dead branches and shrubs. The end result was that Martha felt "pride of ownership" again. Not only was her home improved, but it revitalized the neighborhood as well.
"This note has been difficult for me to write because no matter the words, I put on paper, never seem (to me) to convey the enormous gratitude I feel for the help I received to restore my home to what it is today. All I can say is Thank-you, Thank-you, Thank-you!!!" - Martha
