Name: Brooks Street Project
Description: The homeowners are both disabled. The husband is a military veteran and his wife is blind. Due to their declining health they were not able to physically or afford to keep up their home and property. They could also not afford their utility costs because of drafty and old windows.
Rebuilding Together installed energy efficient windows, repaired their roof, cleaned up their yard and planted flowers and shrubs. They will now be able to afford their heating and electric bills, and stay warm this and every winter.
